Synopsis
Director
A police squad makes its way up the narrow streets of a skid row. While the drug traffickers prepare for war, a clandestine local radio recommends that people take shelter in their homes. However the aim of the police is not to quash the drug trade, but to silence the radio. In prison, Jorge, the radio director, tells his story to the other convicts. The film makes its way back in time: on the top of the hill, four young friends, Jorge, Brau, Roque and Zequiel, dream of creating a radio station acting as the voice of the ?favela? and permitting it to shout at the world.
