Synopsis
Louise Anderson sings at a Manhattan night-club owned by Eddie Clark. There she meets B-29 pilot Patrick Ransom. After a one-night romantic interlude, Ransom goes off to the Pacific. As a prank, his crew paints Louise's picture on the nose of his plane, which sinks Japanese battleships and downs a lot of Zeros. The fame of the plane and its name, "The Bamboo Blonde", inspires Eddie to promote his club, singer and a line of products under that name, and he earns a fortune.
