Synopsis
Duke Martin is a psychopathic killer who dips his bullets in perfume. There is a raid at a beauty shop that was really a front for a gambling den. In the robbery a policeman is killed and one of the robbers, Cowie, is apprehended. He is taken to a hospital and interrogated. Under pressure from the police he implicates his friend Steve Ryan who is innocent of any involvement in the crime. Steve's sister, Rosie, begs police detective Mickey Ferguson to reinvestigate the case because she is convinced her brother is innocent.
