Synopsis
Dennis O'Brien and Tony Genaro are two treasury agents determined to crush a successful counterfeiting ring after a fellow agent is killed during the investigation. The agents pose as underworld thugs and infiltrate a powerful Detroit mob family. They discover that ?The Schemer?, a sleazy little hood who operates in Los Angeles, may hold the key to the counterfeiting ring and O'Brien travels west to find him. O'Brien manages to get into the ring by passing off a phony bill for which he claims to have the plates.
