The Glenn Miller Story
Anthony Mann

Glenn Miller is a bright young man with a love for the trombone and a desire to create music. He encounters Helen Burger at the University of Colorado and they fall in love. On his wedding night Helen finds him at a hot jazz session in Harlem with Krupa, Satchmo and several more. Soon he forms his own group and becomes famous. The war breaks out and he joins the Army, spending most of his time entertaining the troops. His life is cut short when his plane mysteriously disappears over the English Channel in December 1944.
