Synopsis
Robert Holland is a baseball player who is called into the Air Force. He has already served in World War II and thinks the authorities have singled him out because he is an athletic star. Nevertheless, he must do his country's bidding. He is an experienced pilot and they need men like him for the new B-36 and B-47 jets that can deliver the atomic bomb. Sally, his wife, is expecting a baby. But Holland is so impressed by what the SAC is doing that he decides to put an end to his baseball career in favor of the Air Force.
