Synopsis
Russian secret agent Alexander Eberlin has infiltrated British Intelligence, and is ordered to kill a Russian double agent responsible for the deaths of three British spies. Although the double agent is Eberlin himself, the security heads believe it is Pavel, his London contact. After warning Pavel, Eberlin realizes that he must eliminate him in order to preserve his own cover, but he has already been murdered by the Russians. After participating in a mission in Berlin, he discovers that his true identity has been known from the start and that he has been used to uncover the Russian network in that city.
