María llena eres de gracia, opera prima by Joshua Marston, looks at a young 17-year-old Colombian who changes the direction of her life on leaving her native village and audaciously venturing into an unknown future. The film takes us on an intense, unpredictable journey at the side of this rebellious and brave heroine full of life. Her action leads her towards the start of a new life defined more by what she wants to have than by what she rejects. Hesitating on the threshold, María decides to go ahead encouraged by her bravery and grace. María llena eres de gracia isn't a true story. It is however, the kind of story that happens every day.
