Incautos / Unwary
Made in Spain

Ever since he has been able to think for himself, Ernesto has done only one thing in life: cheat. He learned the in?s and out?s of swindling from an old trickster called ?El Manco?. His victims are careless middle or low-class people and his booty is never more than 200,000 pesetas. After a time, El Manco puts Ernesto in touch with the person considered to be the best swindler ever, Federico, an elegant, sharp and methodological imposter. While most citizens borrow money from the bank and have to pay extortionate taxes, Ernesto cheats bankers, politicians, generals... and never pays a bill, never mind taxes. Life couldn?t be better, ?til the appearance of Pilar, his former lover and sidekick, who left him years ago, having taken off with the loot from a sting. Pilar offers Federico what?s known among swindlers as the flawless heist, the big one before his retirement: a gullible, mean person rotten with illegal cash.
