Hundstage/Dog Days / Dog Days
Incorrect@s

It?s a stifling hot weekend in the suburbs of Vienna, somewhere between the autobahn, the hypermarkets and the new housing estates. During these dog days of summer, six interwoven stories unfold, revealing a world of disillusionment and lonely souls. In these hours of listlessness and melancholy the characters give in to the sun in shorts and bikinis. The nights become fuelled with alcohol, sex and music. With no respite from the oppressive heat, tension gradually builds and the atmosphere fills with aggression, fury and contained violence; it?s only a matter of time before everything explodes. A look into a vulnerable, intimate and harsh world.
