Ancient violin-player Don Plutarco, his son Genaro and grandson Lucio lead a double life: they are musician-farmers, and part of a guerrilla group planning to overthrow the Government. One afternoon, the army raids the community in search of the ?rebels?. Don Plutarco escapes to the mountains where Genaro and the rebels regroup to organise the counter-attack.
