Synopsis
San Francisco police officer Frank Connor desperately seeks a bone marrow donor for his leukemia-suffering son. The only available candidate is Peter McCabe, a dangerous prisoner doing time for several murders. Although McCabe accepts to donate his marrow in exchange for certain privileges in jail, he does a bunk when the operation is about to be performed.
