Synopsis
The action takes place towards the end of the Meiji period in Tokyo?s popular Yanagibashi area. The famous geisha Tsuruji, as skilled in the art of serving tea as she is at fighting, takes the place of her murdered father Kashimasa as a leader of the firefighters in the absence of Shinzo, her former partner and son to the head of the Ni family, whose father, Kichigoro, has disowned him for being a yakuza.
