Synopsis
Brothers Gooper and Brick Pollitt come home to New Orleans for the birthday of their father, Big Daddy, who is dying of cancer. Gooper and his wife, May, hope to get their hands on the inheritance of Big Daddy, to whom they have given five grandchildren, soon to be six. Brick and his wife Maggie are childless and argue over Brick's drunkenness and lack of sexual interest in Maggie. Brick believes that she seduced his best friend, Skipper, just before he killed himself, and has no intention of making love to her ever again.
