Synopsis
Paul Taggart, an American black marketeer in Paris, helps Christine Lund, whose husband Lestrac is about to be tried as a Nazi collaborator. Lestrac sends his henchmen to silence her despite the fact that she has no intention of testifying against him. Paul and Christine fall in love. Paul realizes that being a black marketeer is just as bad as being a traitor and sets a trap for his accomplices and Christine's pursuers.
