In his new film, Roger Michell (Notting Hill, Enduring Love) tells the story of Nick and Meg, a couple of British teachers who revisit Paris many years after their honeymoon in an attempt to rejuvenate their marriage. Meg feels she deserves a better life, yet feels insecure and bereft without her husband Nick. Starring Jim Broadbent, Lindsay Duncan and Jeff Goldblum.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1956 in Pretoria (South Africa) and lives in the UK. Following several projects for television where he directed episodes of series such as The Buddha of Suburbia (1993), his first work for the cinema, Persuasion (1995), won the BAFTA Award. In 1999 he directed his first big hit, Notting Hill, candidate for three Golden Globes which also earned Michell his third BAFTA nomination. Later came Changing Lanes (2002), The Mother (2003), Enduring Love (2004), Venus (2006), for which Peter O'Toole landed an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, Morning Glory (2010) and Hyde Park on Hudson (2012).
