The objective of this double session is to analyse the way that series are occupying an outstanding place in audiovisual creation and its market, causing an upheaval extending from the creative processes to models of production, distribution and consumption.
The first panel of the conference will look at the creative process of 'serialising' narrations, both fiction and non-fiction, in relation to audiovisual and film language, and to the new models of consumption generated by this new paradigm of serial content.

The second panel of the conference will focus on industry and market aspects. Here the aim is to analyse the structures and dynamics of producing and promoting serial content, above all in view of the emergence of platforms in a global market, the importance of detecting talent by production companies, platforms and televisions, mechanisms of promotion and user loyalty, experimenting towards new formats and commitment to the production of local contents with global objectives. All in a context of the consumption of diverse and individualised content where the film industry is opening up to the serial format.
