General

Accrediations
How do I know what accreditation I have? And what it lets me do?

Once the Festival has started, you can find all the information related to your accreditation in the section My Festival > My Accreditation.
The Festival exclusively issues the Industry accreditation to participants related to Industry: buyers, distributors, sales agents, etc. For accreditation queries, please contact the Guest Department: invitados@sansebastianfestival.com or call: +34 943 481212


What is the difference between online and physical Industry accreditations?

Accredited Industry guests physically present in San Sebastian will have access/right to:

  • Cinema screenings of the films selectedt at theFestival sections.
  • The Industry Club' working area and meeting point for professionals in the Kursaal Centre, the Festival hub.
  • Cinema screenings of the films selected for WIP Latam and WIP Europa (also accesible online).
  • A physical copy of the Activities Guide (also available online).
  • Thought and Discussion activities: Zinemaldia & Technology, European Film Forum and other activities (some will be streamed).
  • Other activities (presentations, talks, workshops...).

How do I access Industria Online?

Log in to "My Festival" and the "Industria Online" section will appear on the dropdown menu.


Public enquiry desk
At what times and where can I be attended to by the Industry dept.?

The Industry dept. public enquiry desk opening times are: 9 am to 8 pm, Madrid time (UTC +2). You can contact us on:

  • industria@sansebastianfestival.com
  • +34 943 481 217 / +34 943 00 31 08 & 943 00 31 32 (from September 13)
  • The enquiry desk will be located in The Industry Club area (Kursaal Centre)

 

Film Library

Access
Who has access?

Only professionals accredited for Industry activities have access to the Film Library. You can check your accreditation here.


How can I access it?

The Festival Film Library can be found in the following page: www.cinandovl.com/sansebastian. On September 16, industry professionals will receive an email enabling them to generate a password for accessing the platform. If you haven't received the email (check your spam or unwanted mail folder), write to videoteca@sansebastianfestival.com indicating as the subject "Video Library access + your name and surname"


Films
What films can I watch?

The selection of films included in the Festival Film Library is specified here. You may also find the films in post-production form WIP Latam and WIP Europa. (More information here).


Availability
From and until when are the films available?

The films are available during the Festival and until a month after the end of the event. Films having their release during the Festival will be available from the day after their first cinema screening. The WIP Latam and WIP Europa films will also be available following their screening and only until September 25.


 

Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum / Ikusmira Berriak

Access
Who has access to meetings with the selected projects?

Only accredited professionals will access to the Forum's meetings. Make your accreditation queries here.

How does the on-site version of the Forum work?
 
This year the Forum will be held at The Industry Club in the Kursaal on 20, 21 and 22 September, where the accredited industry will be able to meet physically (by appointment) with the selected teams.
 
The meetings with the selected projects that have not been able to come to San Sebastian will be online. Therefore, it is recommended to bring a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.

How does the online version of the Forum work?

STEP 1 - Enter Industria Online and see the projects selected for Industry > Europe-Latin America Co-production Forum. Each file will give you detailed information of the project, including the pitch.

STEP 2 - Organise your meeting. In each file you can see which times are free and organise a meeting. You can enter My Festival - My meetings to see the meetings you have arranged (maximum of one per project). In case you have no access to organise meetings, write to industria@sansebastianfestival.com indicating as the subject "access to meetings + your name and surname".

STEP 3 - On the date of the meeting, at the time agreed to, enter "My Meetings" and click on the button called "enter the meeting" to access to the Zoom meeting.


My Meetings
Until when can I request a meeting?

Until September 19 at 8pm (UTC +2). From then on, if you wish to make an appointment, please, write to industria@sansebastianfestival.com indicating in the subject "meetings + your name and surname"


How can I cancel/change my meetings?

For cancellations and/or changes, write to industria@sansebastianfestival.com with the subject: "meetings + your name and surname"


Video call
How can I join a meeting / video call?

On the date of the meeting, a few minutes before the time agreed to, enter "My meetings" and click on the button next to the meeting. The link will take you directly to the Zoom meeting.


Do I have to install Zoom? Do I need to have my own Zoom account?

While not necessary, it is recommended. You can join a video call without entering your profile or downloading the App; however, doing so will provide you with more tools you can use to interact during the call. If making a video call on a browser, we recommend to use Google Chrome.


I have connection problems and was unable to attend the meeting

The Industry Department does not provide technical assistance for Zoom video calls. If you have suffered a connection problem and have missed the meeting, write to industria@sansebastianfestival.com indicating as the subject "meetings + your name and surname" and we'll try to reschedule the meeting.


 

WIP Latam - WIP Europa

Films
¿Cómo veo las películas online?

Log in to the Festival Film Library with your username and password (you will receive an email on the subject on September 16). If you are unable to access the WIP films, write to videoteca@sansebastianfestival.com indicating as the subject "WIP access + your name and surname". WIP Latam and WIP Europa films will be available from the moment of their screening at the Festival, until September 25 (inclusive).

You can access information on the WIP Latam films through Industria > WIP Latam > Projects. You will find the contact details for the team in each project file.

How can I access the live event?

Consult the details of the event in the Industria Online Professional Agenda; from there you can directly access the live event on the date and at the time indicated.


Languages
In which languages will they be available?

All the talks will have simultaneous translation in the three official languages of the Festival (Spanish, English and Basque), including the streamings.

Who has right of access?

What is Pitching Korner?

Pitching Korner is a window to give visibility to projects selected by the Festival together with other collaborating entities. A total of 7 pitchings of projects led by Basque and Navarre women (Noka Mentoringa and (H)emen), and 3 seriealised project (2deo Serieak) will be shown.
