Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Pau Brunet (Barcelona, Spain) is a producer with over 15 years of experience in distribution, production, and industry analysis. In 2012, Pau co-founded in Los Angeles the company LA Panda Productions, where he participated in the executive production of 10.000 km (Carlos Marqués-Marcet, Made in Spain, 2014), winner of the Goya for Best New Director and Golden Biznaga for Best Film, as well as four Silver Biznagas, at the Malaga Festival, Open Windows (Nacho Vigalondo, Made in Spain, 2014) and Terra firme (Carlos Marqués-Marcet, 2017).
In 2017, Pau launched Amplitud, a production company focused on supporting new talent and emphasizing LGTBQ and female perspectives. The first title produced by Amplitud was La camarista (The Chambermaid, Lila Avilés, 2018), which premiered at Toronto and at the San Sebastian Film Festival (New Directors). The film was selected as the Mexican submission for the Academy Awards. Other titles produced by Pau in Amplitud are documentaries Mirador (Antón Terni, 2019) and Hermanas (Paola Ochoa, 2019) and Goya's nominated short-film Farrucas (Ian de la Rosa, 2021). They also collaborated with the 2021 New Directors film La Roya (The Rush, Juan Sebastián Mesa) and SEMINCI's Los días de la ballena (Days of the Whale, Catalina Arroyave, 2019). In 2022, Amplitud is premiering Secaderos (Tobacco Farms, Rocío Mesa), its new co-production film, at San Sebastian (New Directors) and post-producing Journey to the Land of the Tarahumara.
Besides production, Pau collaborates with distribution companies in Spain, such as Bteam Pictures, Atera Films, and Elamedia, executing part of their marketing campaigns for upcoming features.
