Award Description
Presented by the Quezon City Film Commission (QCFC), the QCinema Award recognizes a standout project in the Europe–Latin America Co-Production Forum that reflects bold storytelling, cross-cultural relevance, and the potential for deep international collaboration.
This award is part of QCFC's broader mission to foster inclusive, globally engaged cinema through its flagship festival, QCinema International Film Festival (QCIFF), held annually in Quezon City, Philippines.
Award Details
The award consists of €4,000 in development support, granted to the majority producer of the winning project.
Eligibility
The QCinema Award is open to all projects officially selected for the Europe–Latin America Co-Production Forum.
The award recipient will be chosen by representatives of QCFC and QCIFF attending the Forum.
The recipient of the QCinema Award agrees to:
- Keep QCFC informed of the project's progress, including expected production and completion timelines.
- Acknowledgment of the QCinema Award in the film's end credits, promotional materials, and publicity efforts, using the official QCinema and QCFC logos, in accordance with branding guidelines to be provided.
