The Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT) did not want to miss Industry Day at SSIFF and brought together representatives from international banks and investment funds at the “Strategic Investment & Financing Roundtable” to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding financing in the audiovisual sector. Participants highlighted the key role of the public sector in continuing to drive the industry’s growth and praised the innovation brought by SETT’s investment model, which is helping to further consolidate Spain’s position as an international benchmark in the audiovisual sector.
María Coronado, SETT’s Director of Audiovisual, invited participants to exchange perspectives and explore new financing solutions to help drive the sector forward. Among the main conclusions, participants highlighted the need to move towards smarter investment capable of generating long-term value. In this regard, they focused on moving beyond a project-by-project approach towards sustainable growth models, while also strengthening the commitment to retaining intellectual property (IP).
