The decision, taken unanimously this afternoon at an extraordinary meeting of the Board held in San Sebastián, follows the open competition launched on 4 March to appoint a successor to José Luis Rebordinos, who has held the post of Festival director since 2011 and will step down from the role on 31 December 2026.
