Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
The San Telmo Museum presents the exhibition La disciplina del caos / The Discipline of Chaos, a selection of collages created by Isabel Coixet. The exhibition, organised with the collaboration of the San Sebastián Festival, can be visited in the Museum’s Lab room from 11 September to 1 November. Entry is free.
Although Coixet is known for her film career, here we discover a lesser known aspect of her creative work, which she has developed parallel to filmmaking in recent years.

This exhibition ran in 2025 at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, as part of the PhotoEspaña programme, and now comes to San Telmo with several new works.
The show includes more than 60 pieces created in three of the different places in which the filmmaker has lived: New York, Rome and Montolieu. In these collages, made both by hand and using digital techniques, she takes photographs, cuttings, texts and found objects to create compositions combining personal references, souvenirs, fragments of other lives and images coming from widely varying contexts.
To accompany the exhibition, the Museum has compiled a publication with texts by Isabel Coixet, the journalist, writer and screenwriter Laura Ferras and the art historian Estrella de Diego, curator at the previous exhibition venues.
