Apple#41 Jaume Claret Muxart
The Catalan filmmaker Jaume Claret Muxart gave a talk to present his debut feature film, Estrany riu, which competed in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera after its screening in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival. An alumnus of the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) and of Ikusmira Berriak, the residency where he developed this very project, Claret Muxart spoke with the Deputy Director of the San Sebastián Festival, Maialen Beloki, about the first steps of his career and the challenges of bringing a debut film to life. The talk, held as part of Nest, took place on September 24, 2025, at the Tabakalera cinema during the 73rd edition of the Festival.
