Apple#44 Artxiboa: The Festival's contribution to film policies, the institutional relationships with other festivals and the pioneering work of the programmer of films for children Sonika-Bo
Beatriz Navas, Rubén Corral and Elsa Estrella Echevarría are the three researchers who have recently benefited from José Ángel Herrero-Velarde grants in their fourth edition, organized by the San Sebastian Festival and Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE). For two weeks in July, the three have enjoyed a residency at the Artxiboa facilities, the Festival's historical archive where Navas researched the Festival's contribution to conversations on film policies; Corral analysed institutional relations with other Spanish festivals, and Echevarría explored the programming of films for children curated by Sonika-Bo between 1958 and 1963.
