Un aller simple / One Way Ticket
A chamber thriller adapted from a North American novel featuring in the Série Noire collection published by Gallimard. Fresh from a failed bank hold-up, and accused of a crime he didn't commit, the protagonist sets out to solve a string of problems in his recent past. The story had already been taken to the screen by Robert Siodmak in the film noir Cry of the City (1948).
