For several weeks, 17-year-old Max has been living in a residential group for young people with mental disabilities. Visiting his father Peter's racehorse riding stable again for the first time, Max tries to convince him to accept his new life. Peter doesn't want to know anything about it and old patterns between the two break open again. Between insecurity and the desire for emotional closeness, Max begins to challenge his father.
