Pablo is a sculptor. His work focuses on making pieces with ceramic cast-offs. Disillusioned, looking for a change of direction, he sets up his studio in a remote rural area on the Galician coast. Gradually, almost without noticing, he withdraws from his previous life, isolating himself and cutting all contact with friends and family. Yet the peninsula's marshy landscape, dotted with the chimney stacks of former tile manufacturing companies and out-of-season campsites, holds a powerful attraction for him.
