After her parents’ separation, Carmela and her mother move into her grandmother’s home. As she struggles to adjust to her new reality, Carmela longs to spend more time at her father’s house. He is a visual artist whom she admires and idolizes. His lingering presence will lead the three generations of women in the family to decide the future they deserve.
