In 2026, the Verdi Cinemas, Barcelona's oldest working cinema, will celebrate their centenary. With humour and through the eyes of two young girls, the film explores the history of the cinema and the people who have brought it to life. It paints a portrait of a cinema whose influence extends throughout Gràcia, the city of Barcelona, and several generations of movie-lovers. The Verdi is, today as it was then, a place of meeting and passion for cinema.
