Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Through cassette recordings of his voice and the super8 films of his travels, film shoots and festivals he would attend despite his political engagement as a screen idol of the Franco era, Paco Rabal (Best Actor Award at the first Festival in 1953 and Donostia Award in 2001) looks back at his life, regrets and contradictions. An impressive list of films recalling the time of his death in Bordeaux, like Goya, the man he played several times. In San Sebastián, he enjoyed success alongside Rafael Gil, Lucas Demare, León Klimovsky, Pedro Olea and Jaime de Armiñán.
