The son of Alicia Eguren, and adopted by John William Cooke, Pedro Catella lived a remarkable life, touching on every crucial Latin American historical episode in the second half of the 20th century. A member of the Peronist resistance since the age of 9, a sniper in the Escambray mountains at 17, his life was stamped by a revolutionary and tragic fate, the fate of his country.
