Zack has signed up for a gruelling naval aviation training course where he has to face Sergeant Foley, whose job is to find each candidate's Achilles heel. Four weeks into training, Zack meets Paula, who works in a paper mill and dreams of an officer in uniform who will rescue her from her miserable life.
