In Bilbao, two young heroin addicts are friends. His parents, one is a commander of the Civil Guard and the other a Basque nationalist deputy. They must overcome their ideological differences, uniting to help them. As a backdrop to the drama, stories are produced that allow us to discover the marginal sectors of the Basque Country, hidden under a layer of puritanism and machismo and other clichés of the country. The characters in the film must choose between family and duty, the truth or the defense of loved ones. All this happens in a conflictive geographical framework such as the Basque Country at the present time.
