LA MACCHINA AMMAZZACATTIVI / THE MACHINE TO KILL BAD PEOPLE
Hunger, Humour and Fantasy

The photographer in a tiny seaside village has a vision of his patron saint who tells him he is in possession of great power. A simple "clic" of his camera will wipe the baddies framed in his lens from the face of the earth. Although the photographer tries to use his power as best he can, he soon realises just how easy it is to make mistakes. Not only that, but he now knows it wasn't his patron saint who told him he could dabble in sorcery, but the devil in person.
BIOGRAPHY

ROBERTO ROSELLINI

Rosellini's strong character was written all over his cinema and TV works. autarchic and independent, he only shot works in chich he firmly believed, doing so with a supremacy due more to serious conviction than defiance. He had as many admirers as he had adversaries, mostly because the latter expected him to stay in line with the shpae and contect of his earlier works, like Roma città aperta
