Director
Not long after his tenth birthday, Manu sets out for the first time in his life to Murcia, where he is to spend some time with his father's family while his parents sort out their divorce. As exuberant as its surroundings, Manu's family offers him a feast of dishes such as the tender and incipient love for his cousin Fuensanta, the more seasoned discovery of sex among adults, or the distastefulness of death on its visit to the seaside. Digesting this fare is not just a price to pay, it's also one of life's little pleasures.
