Synopsis
Director
Tango singer Renzo Franchi lives as he can in the emigrant-packed Buenos Aires of the 30s. But things are never quite the same after his meeting with Gustavo's girlfriend, Juanita, who convinces him he's a Carlos Gardel lookalike. Franchi becomes a perfect double of the famous singer, never once imagining that his resemblance to the man was going to have such surprising consequences or such a devastating effect on their lives.
