In the dark Middle Ages, a monster called Jabberwocky is terrorising the locals. King Bruno makes an announcement saying that the knight who succeeds in slaughtering the beast will be given his daughter's hand in reward. Dennis, the cooper's son, succeeds in carrying out the feat and is to marry the princess, but his true love is the fat and common Griselda.
