THE BORROWERS
Velodrome

Pod, Homely, Peagreen and Arrietty Clock are Borrowers. Only six inches tall, they live under the floorboards of a large house and borrow everything they need from Joe, Victoria and their son Pete, the members of the kind family who live upstairs. One day, Arrietty's adventurous wanderings lead her into the hands of Pete, with whom she strikes up a warm friendship, and who tells her that his Great Aunt Mary, to whom the house belongs, has died. Since no-one can find the will, evil and ruthless lawyer Ocius Potter has decided to have the place demolished.
