PLUS-MINUS NULL / BREAK EVEN
Zabaltegi - New Directors

Alex is a part-time construction worker and small-time criminal with nothing to show for his 33 years but a broken marriage, a guitar and his Trabbi, a make of car produced in what used to be the GDR. His life takes a turn for the better on meeting the attractive young Bosnian prostitute, Svetlana, who unfortunately ends up unnecessarily cluttering his life by asking him to marry her. A second prostitute, Ruth, seems to be the perfect woman - like Alex, she is lonely, simple and undemanding. But things get complicated the day he gets caught stealing.
BIOGRAPHY
Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1968. Before he started studying at the DFFB in 1991, he worked in the sound department of several TV stations and as a free lance cameraman on documentary films.
