Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Navarre at the end of 17th century. The film takes place in a feudal setting. Garazi the granddaughter of a woman who was burnt and accused of being a witch, had a love affair with Iñigo, the son and heir of Don Fermín the overlord of the village. She has been initiated into the "Witches Sabbath" by a faith-healer. She is now going out with another man, Unai, one of the young men who are opposed to Don Fermín?s absolute power. Don Fermín, in order to quieten the people?s rightful protest, unleashes a cruel hunt against the so-called "witches".
