Synopsis
Throughout a series of unrelated vignettes, all marked by absurd black humour, the film?s characters stand witness to an utterly motionless traffic jam, the pathetic firing of an employee, a violent attack on an immigrant in a busy street, a magic trick gone horribly wrong... Amid the chaos is the overriding presence of Karl, covered in soot from a fire which he himself started in his furniture store for the insurance money. Director
