Synopsis
Jesse and Frank James live on a farm with their mother. Barshee, a St. Louis Midland Railroad representative, is buying land in the area to build a new line, usually by beating sellers into accepting dirt-cheap offers. When Mother James refuses to sell her land, Barshee throws a bomb through the farm window and kills her. The brothers decide to take revenge and murder the man before embarking on a series of railroad and bank heists.Director
