Synopsis
Journalist Henry M. Stanley is instructed by his editor to locate lost Scottish missionary, David Livingstone, deep in the heart of Africa. Although he finally succeeds in his task, the doctor, though seriously ill, is happy ministering to the natives and declines Stanley's invitation to return home with him. Once back, Stanley tells his story of meeting Dr. Livingstone, only to find himself accused of fraud due to lack of tangible proof. However, Stanley finally proves his case and returns to Africa to continue the late Dr. Livingstone's work.Director
