Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Juan and Pedro meet on a trailer full of illegal Mexican immigrants heading for New York. Pedro shows Juan a sealed letter given to him by his dead mother before she passed away to help him find the father he never met. He tells his new friend that Diego -his father?s name- went to New York a long time ago and is now a wealthy restaurant owner. Diego wakes up in the trailer that brought them to Brooklyn. He?s alone; his luggage and the letter with his father?s address have disappeared. Meanwhile, Juan calls at Diego?s door with the letter, pretending to be Pedro, his son. During the day, instead of working, he rakes through Diego?s flat in search of a fortune. Every passing day brings Pedro closer to finding Diego, and Juan to finding the money.
