Calle Santa Fé in the suburbs of Santiago de Chile on 5th October 1974. Carmen Castillo survives her partner, Miguel Enríquez, leader of the Revolutionary Left-Wing Movement (MIR) and of the Resistance against the Pinochet dictatorship, killed in combat. This is the starting point of Calle Santa Fé, a journey through these neighbourhoods and the memory of the defeated: a journey showing neither complacency nor self-indulgence; a narrative guided by the questions: Was all of the resistance worth the effort?
