While promoting one of his films at different festivals across the world, its director wanders the streets with a small camera looking for an idea or a character for his next work. Conceived as a travel diary, Guest features the entries made by the filmmaker. Beneath the apparently chance interweaving between the different notes beats a film; the situation, the conflict, the character who should develop it. ?The observed? is expressed as the first, essential and inexhaustible stage of cinema.
