A short time ago I happened upon the fact that the cause of our mother?s death was to have inhaled asbestos dust. The factory that made it stood only a short way from the house in which we lived. The discovery was an emotional blow leading me to travel from the very bottom of my heart to the Indian beaches on which they now break up the ships that no European wants to touch for fear of the asbestos they contain.
