Synopsis
Oscar François de Jarjayes is born female, but her father, who wants a son and heir and already has five daughters, raises her as a boy together with André, her nanny's grandson. When they grow up, Oscar becomes an officer of the Queen's guards and André her groom. André is in love with Oscar, but it takes time for her to realize that she loves him too. The behaviour of the aristocracy lead up to the Revolution and they will be on different sides at first.Director
