Discovering Canary Islands - San Borondón

A voyage of discovery riddled with trials, mysteries and routes through marvellous lands that will show competitors and spectators the legend of the Canaries. Impressive tests of strength, ingenuity and skill in a race around the islands over 6 episodes. 8 competitors of 8 nationalities compete to become Europe's best explorer. Each trial is the key to the next one, coming with an advantage or reward, and the possibility of obtaining a clue in the shape of a coordinate and part of the legend to achieve their final goal: San Borondón. The participants will see how, in fact, there are not 8 Canary Islands... but 9. La Graciosa, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera all conceal their own legends. Somewhere between reality and folklore, history and fiction, a new island is said to exist: San Borondón, known as Whale Island, the dream of mapmakers and sailors for centuries and the goal of the participants.
